What Motivates OrthoDenco?

When you do orthodontic lab work, it’s hard to create a connection between your work and the overarching goal of the treatment because you don’t have direct interaction with the patients. We’re not afforded that benefit. In many occasions, the orthodontist takes a child in his early teens, and by the time this person is about to reach adulthood, orthodontic is about finished, so in many aspects orthodontists are able to see a patient grow and are able to guide the growth of their teeth and their alignment to provide the best results possible.

At the lab, we don’t get that benefit, however many times, I have calls from orthodontists we’ve partnered with and they tell me, “Hey, I just want to share with you, this patient that you and I work together. I delivered the case today, and this patient was in tears. She was so pleased with the results. She was so pleased with the results, she was so pleased with the way it looked, and moreover, she was confident about her smile again. That really touched a chord with that patient.” That’s really our motivation, to instill change in people’s lives that can last longer than a two-year treatment, and that is going to able to change somebody’s outlook in life forever, even in a small part. That’s what really keeps us going.
